Treliver D’Artagnan (known as Douglas) was imported as a foal from the UK from his breeder, Gill at Treliver Stud.
He was sired by Treliver Decanter, a British Warmblood, who is successfully competing in dressage at the Prix St George level in the United Kingdom. Douglas has inherited his father’s handsome features, size, good conformation, lovely movement, calm temperament and eye-catching colour. He is currently competing in dressage at Novice level and has been placed a number of times. Breeding Douglas to a chestnut mare gives a 50/50 chance of producing a Palomino or Chestnut foal. Colour genetics can be very complicated as many genes play a part in determining the colour of a horse. Pedigree and Breeding Lines

Feinbrand was Reserve Champion at his Oldenburg Stallion Approval in 1990. His offspring have inherited his genes for rideability, type and movement. He is a licensed Oldenburg stallion, and is also accepted by the Hanoverian, Westphalian and KWPN registries as well as seven other German Breed Societies. Treliver Decanter is a graded British Warmblood Sports horse, a son of the well known Hanoverian stallion, Keystone Di Maggio, who is descended from no less than nine Grand Prix stallions, including Don Primero, Donnerhall (who is undoubtedly the most successful dressage stallion in the world to date), Davignon, Donnerschlag, Weltmeyer and Welcome. Keystone Di Maggio is very successful in his own right and has won many titles, including the highly sought after title “2000 World Breeding Champion”. Treliver Decanter was awarded the “Champion Sport Horse Stallion for 2003” by the British Warmblood Breeders Society and was featured in the magazine Horse and Hound as “one for the future”. Krystal, the dam of Treliver Decanter trained to Advanced Medium Dressage level and was a very talented showjumper before an accident prevented her from competing further. Krystal was by Graditz, who was by Grande, a famous jumping stallion. Feline was imported from Germany by Treliver Stud in 2005, but sadly died after producing two palomino foals, one being Douglas. Douglas was fortunate to have had a surrogate mother to bring him up.
